Keto AIP Whole30 Paleo Delicata Squash Sliders
Ingredients:
- 1 Delicata squash, sliced into rounds
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper omit for AIP
- Lettuce leaves, for serving
- Avocado slices, for serving
- Optional: compliant mayonnaise or sauce of choice
Instructions:
Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C
Put the rounds of delicata squash on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it
Put some garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper on top of the squash rounds
Then drizzle some coconut oil over them
Put the squash in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until it's soft and slightly caramelized
Make small patties out of the ground beef while the squash is baking
Add salt and pepper to the patties no pepper for AIP
Cook the patties in a skillet over medium-low heat for three to four minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them
Put a cooked squash round on a plate, then top it with a lettuce leaf, a beef patty, and avocado slices
This will make the sliders
Tie it down with a toothpick if you need to
If you want, you can serve it with mayonnaise or any other sauce that is allowed
