Peanut Butter-Pretzel Truffles

These Peanut Butter-Pretzel Truffles are covered in rich chocolate and have the irresistible tastes of creamy peanut butter and salty pretzels. They are the perfect mix of sweet and salty.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips for coating
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil for coating
  • Crushed pretzels and chopped peanuts optional, for garnish

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine creamy peanut butter, crushed pretzels, powdered sugar, and 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Mix until well combined, forming a thick dough-like consistency

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it starts to simmer, then pour it over the remaining 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl

Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy

Let the chocolate mixture cool for a few minutes

Take small portions of the peanut butter-pretzel mixture and roll them into balls, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Using a fork or a toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate mixture to coat it completely, then return it to the parchment-lined baking sheet

If desired, garnish each truffle with crushed pretzels and chopped peanuts while the chocolate coating is still wet

Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and let the truffles chill for about 30 minutes to set the chocolate coating

Once the chocolate is set, transfer the truffles to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve

Enjoy your delicious Peanut Butter-Pretzel Truffles!
