Crockpot Spaghetti Sauce
This Crockpot Spaghetti Sauce recipe is perfect for busy days when you want a hearty and delicious meal without spending hours in the kitchen. Let the slow cooker do the work for you as it simmers the flavors together, resulting in a rich and savory sauce.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 1 can 6 oz tomato paste
- 1 can 14
- 5 oz diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
Put olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat
Add the minced garlic and chopped onion and saut until the garlic smells good
Put the ground beef in the pan and cook it until it turns brown
Get rid of extra fat
Put the slow cooker on high and add the cooked beef, onions, and garlic
If you want, you can add red pepper flakes, basil, oregano, salt, black pepper, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes to the slow cooker
Mix things together well
Don't open the lid
Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, stirring every now and then
If you want, you can sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the cooked spaghetti noodles before serving
